All patterns are for a right-handed golfer.

Patterns for a left-handed golfer would be reversed.

The Fish Hook
Creates a slight draw. Good swing path, inside out.  This is the form you want a student to achieve. The Explosion
Explodes hips toward ball trapping club back.  Pushes ball  to the right. The Slice
Swing plane outside in.  Weight from Right toe to Left heel.

The Slide
Weight transfer in line with ball flight.  Some times a good hit, some times a push.  Compensating move creates a duck hook. The Athlete
Hits the ball well, but loses some to right. Loses power because head is down.  Has to make a compensating move to stay in balance.   The Reverse Pivot
All weight on left foot then reverses back to right.  Result is very poor swing.
The Hang Back
All weight on Right foot, NO transfer. The Spin Out
Weight of Right Heel then quickly to Left heel.  Lack of balance causes left heel to “Spin”.
